The following email was recently sent to us at the Gelugpa Vajrayana Buddhist Association of Malaysia (GVBAM). It sets a very nice precedent for our activities over the coming year.

“I have the affinity to chance upon your website; thank you all for agreeing with the 14th Dalai Lama, and also thank you for helping the whole of Buddhism. I have been to a few Asian countries, but a lot of Buddhists don’t really know the essence of Buddhist thoughts and spirit; what they know are only the differences of sects and differences of temples. I think you guys are not like that, because you guys listen to the Dalai Lama’s teaching; the Dalai Lama said as a contemporary Buddhist, we have to understand our own doctrine, and respect other sects. Wishing you a happy new year!”
